Farmer Jason has been through quite a lot in his short time on Farmer Wants A Wife! The poor guy has lost three out of five of the ladies that he initially brought back to the farm, and now he’s dealing with social media as well.
Speaking to WHO, Farmer Jason shared that his friends and family have been sending him a few social media posts, including images showing fans of the show using AI to remove his long beard!
“People have been talking about my beard,” the 37-year-old told us with a laugh. “Using AI images or something.”
One post in a Farmer Wants A Wife Facebook group did indeed share a photo of Jason with a closer-cropped beard, with the caption, “That’s better.”
“So much better,” another agreed, with some saying the shorter beard made him look “years younger”.
Another viewer used AI to completely remove the beard, to which some people replied that he looked “even younger”.

Thankfully, some people like Jason’s beard just the way it is, with one person responding, “The girls are not marrying him for his beard. They’re marrying him for his personality, etc., and he seems pretty good to me.”
Other fans have also shared their love of Jason on social media, with one person on Instagram writing, “Jason seems lovely I hope he finds someone suited to farm life.”
“Nawwwww, he’s bloody adorable!” yet another said.
Farmer Jason responds to AI photos
Jason told us he doesn’t mind the photos, but added he bumped into someone on the street who felt quite strongly about it.
“I was walking down the street, and this old person I didn’t even know yelled out, ‘Buddy, tell ’em to bloody bugger off! Keep the beard!'” Jason quipped. “I was like, ‘What are you on about?’ And he was like, ‘You’re that farmer off the show, right?'”
Soon after, another woman stopped him to say the exact same thing.
For those hoping for a clean-shaven Jason, we have bad news: “The beard is here to stay, I think!”
As he previously revealed to TV WEEK , producers actually begged him to shave before filming started.

“They reckon women want to see what’s under the beard”, he told the publication. “I did have a bit of a mullet happening, but they made me cut it off. They compromised. They said, ‘We’ll let you keep the beard, but the mullet’s got to go.’ It’s grown back a bit now.”
He explained that he’s had his beard for more than 12 years, so it holds a special place in his heart.
“I had a couple of shaves when I was 18,” he shared. “I didn’t like shaving, so I just grew stubble and had stubble for a long time, and I thought, ‘Oh, I’m just going to grow the beard and see what it looks like.'”
