It was a dramatic Sunday night on Farmer Wants A Wife! On Farmer Zac’s farm, Miranda was sent packing, while a double date on Farmer Dylan’s farm led to a shock exit from Lily after some “sneaky” behaviour.

Speaking exclusively to WHO, Dylan revealed that at that point in the experience, he had absolute “tunnel vision” for chocolate shop assistant, Ally—but it didn’t come without doubts.

Referencing both the footy match that took place last week and the horse riding on the double date, Dylan said he was “disappointed” because Ally started off “really strong, ticking every box,” but then he started having doubts about whether she would be able to “back” him.

He added that because horse riding in particular is so important to him, he would have loved for Ally to at least feign an interest in it.

Farmer Dylan’s double date with Lily and Ally

After being left embarrassed that three out of four of his ladies didn’t participate in the footy match against Farmer Zac’s team last week, Dylan had some questions about his connection with Ally. Hoping to test her compatibility with farm life, he took both Ally and Lily on a double date centred around horse riding and show jumping.

“It’s clear that Ally’s not comfortable doing farm work, or horse riding, so I personally can’t see her fitting into farm life,” Lily told the cameras.

Meanwhile, Dylan was craving reassurance. During a one-on-one with Lily, he asked her to “chase” him more, later noting that Lily consistently put him first—something Ally wasn’t doing. When he pulled Ally aside to address her “mixed signals,” she admitted she was struggling to watch him with other women after being cheated on in the past.

“But I know that this is what I’ve signed up for,” she added. “It’s the risk I’m taking.”

Dylan explained that he knew the whole situation was weird, but he wasn’t the type to cheat on a partner, adding that he wasn’t having doubts about their connection.

However, in his chat to the camera, he admitted he felt like he couldn’t think straight around Ally and expressed concerns that he was putting in the majority of the work.

“I went in there asking for reassurance, and I didn’t really get it,” he said. “I didn’t come on this to make someone else completely happy, I wanted it to be a mutual agreement and I’m struggling a bit with Ally in that regard.”

Lily’s shock exit: ‘I’m not happy’

The tension boiled over when the trio returned to the farm. Sensing something had happened on the date, Lily confronted Ally, who admitted that she and Dylan had shared a kiss.

Lily didn’t hold back, calling Ally out for being “sneaky” and “disrespectful.”

“There is a line, and Ally has crossed it,” Lily told the cameras. At dinner, she decided it was her time to leave the farm, but not before issuing a stark warning to Dylan to be careful.

“I feel slightly rattled, I’m a bloke that overthinks a lot,” Dylan admitted of the exit. “I don’t want to think that what Lily said to me before she left is true. But it’ll sit in the back of my mind.”

Dylan admits he ‘should have copped’ some of the blame

Reflecting on the secret kiss, Dylan told WHO that while it “happened naturally,” it left him with tough questions about his own boundaries with Ally. “Like, are you just gonna fold every time she asks for something?” he questioned.

Dylan acknowledged that he understood why Lily was so upset, but defended his choice to take a leap of faith for love. However, he does wish the dramatic exit had handled a bit differently.

“I think the way she went about it was a bit rough… not so much on me, but the way she grilled Ally,” he shared. “I thought I should have copped a bit of that as well, because it takes two people to kiss. I’m just as much in the wrong as Ally was.”
