Farmer Wants A Wife’s Farmer Zac officially said goodbye to Miranda on Sunday night after the 21-year-old had one too many confrontations with the other women on the farm.
Speaking with WHO, the apple farmer shared that he didn’t realise “how much tension” there was between the women, adding, “I obviously got blindsided quite a lot with what was happening behind my back compared to what I could see that was happening.”

He told us that he didn’t realise how bad things were until he saw Tuesday night’s episode, where the women met his twin sister, Isobel, adding that it was a difficult watch.
Zac shared that he thought the double date with Maya and Miranda was a good opportunity for the women to spend some time together and see if they could move past the drama.
“I’m not about the drama, I absolutely hate it, I hate getting involved with it, I never know what to say or do, so I thought it was a good opportunity for them to hopefully see if they could settle their feud.”
Zac explained the main reason for sending Miranda home was finding out how she treated the other women.
“Just how she went about the situation, that’s just not for me, like, absolutely not,” he said. “I think Maya handled herself absolutely awesomely… and that was something that I really look for when it comes to a lady.”
Once Miranda left, Zac said that “a lot of the tension” and “negative interactions” lifted, and the vibe in the house was lighter.
Zac’s ‘awkward’ double date with Maya and Miranda
Sunday night’s episode began with Zac telling the cameras, “After last night I was feeling a lot of things, I don’t know the full story, but it sounds like there was a bit of tension between Maya and Miranda.”
And that is putting things somewhat lightly!
Cut to Miranda telling Maya that she was “disappointed with the whole situation” saying that she wished that she had gone straight to her, not to Zac’s sister, Isobel, who in turn, told Zac.
“I’m here for Zac, not really for friends,” she told the girls.
Speaking to the cameras, she added, “Zac and I’s relationship has been affected, because girls can’t keep their mouth shut.”
The farmers were tasked with going on double dates, where they had to send one of the two girls home, causing major stress among all the girls.
Zac’s choice? Maya and Miranda.
Cue extreme awkwardness from two women who do not want to be in the same room, let alone the same car or date!
“I’m upset and angry and frustrated,” Miranda shared. “Why would I want to go on a double date with me and my boyfriend and another girl. Maya is irrelevant to me.”
On the date, the trio went rock climbing, and Maya said she sensed a “playful, sexual energy” between Miranda and Zac.
Meanwhile, Miranda told the cameras she was “100 per cent confident” that Maya would be the one going home.
The trio went to the pub for lunch, where Zac told WHO that the date was “as awkward as you think it might be,” with Miranda trying to bring up the feud with Maya at the table.
In a one-on-one with Zac, she told him she had always felt girls were jealous of her, but she was there for him, not them.
She pushed him on whether he felt a spark between them, and he told her that he did, and the more time he spent with her, the more he thought, “Wow!”
Which could be a negative or positive… Zac chose his words very wisely!
Miranda ‘has no respect’ for Zac
Later that night, at dinner, Zac had to decide whether Maya or Miranda would be sent home.
Speaking to the cameras, the farmer said he wanted to make sure the people on his farm were genuinely looking for love.
Miranda, not one to back down from a fight, decided it was the perfect time to (once again) tell Maya she didn’t think it was fair that Maya had spoken about her to Zac’s sister.
It was clear that Zac didn’t appreciate the conversation and looked exasperated.
Maya stood her ground, however, and even apologised for upsetting Miranda with what she did, adding that she doesn’t like speaking about people behind their backs.
“I really have high respect for you, Miranda, and I hope that you can see that,” Maya said.
Throughout the conversation, Zac’s face betrayed his feelings, and the farmer revealed that Miranda would be sent home.
“I can’t see us going any further from here,” he told her. “I’m really sorry.”
To the cameras, he added, “Seeing Miranda say that at the table, it was sort of the nail in the coffin, Miranda was passive aggressive against Maya and I just don’t agree with how things were gone about.”
Miranda added, “I think Zac and I were getting quite close and did have a good connection, but if someone is going to treat me like that then I want nothing to do with them anyway. And I have no respect for him for believing what other girls have said, I think it’s stupid.”
