While Farmer Zac’s farm on Farmer Wants A Wife has been hot with drama these last few weeks, Farmer Dylan’s property might just be set to take over.
On Sunday night’s episode, Lily walked out after her double date with Dylan and Ally, which ended with a secret kiss for the latter.
Lily and Dylan appeared to be on good footing – demonstrating a strong connection on the double date, especially because Lily was willing to give horse riding and show jumping a try – something that Ally refused to do, even after Dylan told her it upset him when she didn’t take part in the football against Farmer Zac’s girls last week.
While it all seemed to be going well between the pair, when Lily discovered that Ally and Dylan had shared a secret kiss during their one-on-one time, she called Ally out for being “sneaky” and “disrespectful”.
Speaking to the cameras, Lilly said, “There is a line, and Ally has crossed it”, before deciding to leave for good.
Before she exited, however, she had a word of warning for Dylan.
Lily’s warning to Dylan ahead of shock exit
“I also feel like you need to be careful with Ally. I found her to be very sneaky, and I’m trying not to be mean, but be careful, that’s all I’m going to say,” she told the young farmer.
“I feel like that’s something that you need to be aware of.”
Lily’s reasoning was that Ally had made it out that she was one of her best friends, yet still betrayed her by kissing Dylan on the date.
“Dylan needs to be careful, because someone like that is going to be sneaky towards someone who she calls her dear friend… what’s she going to do to someone that she’s in a relationship with?” Lily told the cameras.
“I feel slightly rattled, I’m a bloke that overthinks a lot,” Dylan admitted of the exit. “I don’t want to think that what Lily said to me before she left is true. But it’ll sit in the back of my mind.”
Farmer Dylan was caught off guard by Lily’s words
Speaking to WHO, Dylan spoke of Lily’s warning, saying, “That one kind of caught me off guard a bit, because the tricky bit with it is, I could have thought about like, she’s just upset because Ally and I kissed, and she’s just trying to throw a spanner in the works.
“But Lily is a really down-to-earth person, and I think the problem is, is that the girls are so close during the experience, they become a real close knit group of friends, and they know each other, I suppose, a lot more than I know them as the show goes on. And I think that’s what made Lily’s warning a bit of a clicking point in my head, because it’s like, ‘Hold on, is there something that I don’t know about Ally?'”
He continued, “So yeah, going forward, it was just played in my head a bit and the warning definitely caught me off guard and rattled me a bit.”
So, did Lily’s warning change how Dylan approached a relationship with Ally?
“It changed in the way of like, it would sit in the back of my head, and I think that’s what made it tricky going forward, because I’d already been given all these signs in my head that was like she’s really asking you for more, and ignoring what you’re asking her.”
He explained that once the warning came through from Lily, it “definitely changed” the way he thought.
“But yeah, it’s just one of those things, like, how to navigate it?”
