Since the beginning of the show, Farmer Dylan and Ally have been dubbed as well-suited and a “perfect match” by fans of Farmer Wants a Wife. From the moment she fed him chocolate to when they shared their first surprise (and rom-com worthy) kiss, the young couple seemed to have it all!

However, after Sunday night’s episode, fans aren’t too sure about the pair. On a double date with Lily and Ally, Dylan snuck a “sneaky” kiss with Ally, causing major upset back at the house once Ally broke the news to Lily.

This led to some serious confrontation from Lily’s side as she called Ally “sneaky”, “disrespectful”, and said she crossed the line. Before she left the show for good, she warned Dylan to be careful with Ally and told the cameras that “it’s clear that Ally’s not comfortable doing farm work, or horse riding” and that she “personally can’t see her fitting into farm life.” Ouch!

However, speaking to WHO, Dylan gave some serious hints about his type, gets candid about his “tunnel vision” when it comes to Ally, and how serious an interest in “farm work” really is to him.

Farmer Wants A Wife viewers think Ally will never be a country girl

Fans started out rooting for Farmer Dylan and Ally’s relationship, populating social media with words of hope and encouragement for the pair.

“Love!!! Cutest couple and so well matched,” one fan wrote beneath a post of them kissing. “Please tell me this works out for them.”

“These 2 are the best,” another agreed. “She is so raw and authentic, perfect for him and his family.”

However, after Ally refused to participate in a joint footy game against Farmer Zac and his ladies and then didn’t take enough of an interest in horse riding, Dylan started to express his concerns about their compatibility – and fans are right there with him

“He just made a massive mistake,” one fan wrote after Lily left the farm. “Ally is too immature and will never be a ‘country girl'”

“She doesn’t seem to be into anything farm-related,” another agreed.

Despite this, there are a few fans who are still rooting for the pair.

“I still hope he picks Ally,” one viewer wrote online. “They are so suited”

“Thinking Dylan already picked Ally by the look of things,” one fan speculated.

Given that secret make-out sesh, it doesn’t look like Ally’s lack of passion for show jumping is that much of a turn-off for the farmer…

Does Farmer Dylan pick Ally?

While this final decision remains under wraps (we’re only a few weeks into the show after all!), Farmer Dylan recently spoke to WHO, dropping some heavy hints about his relationship status with Ally.

When asked about how important it is for someone to be ‘right on paper’ compared to having chemistry with him, he revealed that he leans heavily towards the “chemistry” side of things.

“I think [chemistry’s] critical,” Dylan told WHO. “You need chemistry, because at the end of the day, I suppose it can be right on paper, but it doesn’t appear that way in person, and that chemistry is not there. Then it’s just not right.”

Dylan added: “I would rather be completely opposite to someone and have chemistry than be perfect for someone on paper than have no chemistry.”

It looks like Ally not being a major farm fanatic may not matter to Dylan as much as fans think…and there’s no doubt that their chemistry is there! I guess we’ll have to wait and see if this opinion remains true for the whole season.
