Another day, another rumour that Olivia Wilde and Harry Styles have ended their relationship.
Since news of the couple first made headlines in January 2021, fans have seemingly tried their hardest to prove the relationship was doomed. From rumours of cheating and infidelity to in-depth TikTok ‘investigations’ to find proof the relationship was merely a PR stunt, fans were adamant that the relationship was insincere.
Yet Harry and Olivia persevered. Until this past weekend at least, when rumours of their official split picked up once again, with PEOPLE reporting that the couple were “taking a break.”
“He’s still touring and is now going abroad. She is focusing on her kids and her work in L.A.,” one source told the outlet. “It’s a very amicable decision.”
“They’re still very close friends,” the source continued, while another said, “Right now, they have different priorities that are keeping them apart.”
And although many fans are convinced by the anonymous source material – we are not. Here’s why we don’t think the relationship has ended.
Olivia Wilde was seen attending Harry Styles’ concert
On November 15, The Don’t Worry Darling director was spotted attending Harry Syles’ Los Angeles concert. This was just one day before reports of the couple’s split. Not only that – Olivia brought her kids along. Otis, eight, and Daisy six, who she shares with ex-fiance Jason Sudeikis were spotted dancing along with their mum throughout the event. We just don’t think Olivia would bring her kids along if she knew the relationship was heading to splitsville – especially since a number of his songs are rumoured to be about their relationship.
They were spotted going to the gym together
News of their split broke on November 16 – just two days after the pair were photographed attending the gym together. Again, it’s plausible that their relationship disintegrated mere days after their outing, but we just don’t believe a couple whose relationship was on the rocks would choose to work out together.
This isn’t the first time rumours have swirled about their relationship ending
During the Venice Film Festival premiere of Don’t Worry Darling rumours hit an all-time high that the couple had split. Despite numerous photos showing the couple together throughout the month of September, an anonymous source revealed that the couple split – news that was quickly disproved.
This is why we’ll wait a bit longer this time around before believing the couple is well and truly over…
