It’s been almost 20 years since How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days hit the big screen, but there’s still a lot of love for the rom-com starring Kate Hudson.
“It is so re-watched,” the 43-year-old recently shared, commenting on its renewed popularity with the younger generation thanks to TikTok.
“It’s so fun, and right now I have all these young girls like 18, 19, who come up to me and it’s all How to Lose a Guy. It’s so fun. I love it.”

Hudson starred alongside Matthew McConaughey in the 2003 film as Andie Anderson, the writer who looks for a man she can love and lose in 10 days. The film was an instant hit, raking in over $250 million at the box office.
And it seems despite being in disbelief about how long it’s been since the film’s release, Hudson has said she’d be down to do a sequel.

“We both have the same feeling about it,” the actress said of herself and her hunky co-star. “If, for some reason, a great idea came across our desk and it read well, yeah I would totally revisit it.
“I’m sure it would start with marital conflict. Or maybe … I have no idea. How to Lose a Husband in 20 Years?” she quipped on The Jonathan Ross Show late last year. “A sequel would really bring some interesting things.”

The actress has also hinted she would be keen for take two of the film, if only to get to star alongside McConaughey, 53, again. The pair have also starred together in 2008’s Fool’s Gold.
“Some days what was so great, and I think why Matthew and I both would love to probably work together again, is that we have like a competitive spirit together,” she said of her former co-star and friend.

“We’re both super athletic and we like to push each other, and I love Matthew’s commitment to everything, like he just puts everything in and I was like, ‘That’s the energy.’”
