Based on the real life story of writer and director Abe Forsythe, Wolf Like Me follows the story of a 40-something single parent.

Josh plays Gary, a character who’s described as an “emotional wreck and struggles to provide for his daughter since the death of his wife,” while Isla plays a woman with “a secret she can’t herself to share with anyone.” As the two meet and fall in love, they soon learn that they were brought together for a reason, they just need to follow the signs to find out why.

Wolf Like Me is a very meaningful project for me,” Abe said in a statement from Stan. “The stakes are extremely high but grounded by things we can all relate to.”

“I’m so excited to have Isla and Josh on board and I know the audience will be surprised seeing them in a different way as these characters.”

Isla has yet to publicly comment on her new project but did wow fans earlier this week when she and Oscar-nominated partner Sacha Baron Cohen stunned the Oscars red carpet at a special screening in Sydney.

Last year, Isla and Sacha moved from LA to Sydney with their children Olive, Elula, and Montgomery. According to a source close to the couple, via Emerald City, “they didn’t want to raise their kids in Trump’s America.”
