“We’re not allowed to have certain opinions or even be passionate about something, or they’ll be like, “God, she’s really difficult.” It’s like, “Am I? Am I difficult because I care?” said Jennifer in The Hollywood Reporter.

Lopez has become one of the most in-demand performers in the entertainment industry, serving as a judge on American Idol, taking up a residency in Vegas and earning a Golden Globe nomination for her portrayal of the lead character in Selena.

“I got a moniker of being “the diva,” which I never felt I deserved — which I don’t deserve — because I’ve always been a hard worker, on time, doing what I’m supposed to do, and getting that label because you reach a certain amount of success.”

In 2014 the multi-talented artist was awarded the Billboard Music Icon Award after ruling the charts in three different decades.

Since having children, Jennifer noticed a marked difference in her approach to acting roles. “You’re like, “I’ll be naked, but you know you’ll never see a tit.”

Twins Max and Emme were born in 2008. Jennifer co-parents them with ex-husband Marc Anthony. The couple divorced in 2011 after 7 years of marriage.

This year the entertainment veteran will see her second season of NBC crime drama Shades of Blue go to air as well as perform a residency show at Planet Hollywood in Los Vegas titled, “All I Have”. Jennifer also released her first single since returning to Epic records, “Ain’t Your Mama”.
