As expected, the MAFS 2026 intruders have arrived, ready to stir the pot and form new connections (and conflict) on the show.
With previous contestants opting out of the experiment, there’s room for new brides and grooms to shake the relationships that are already hanging on by a thread.
Who is Joel?
This 31-year-old model has spent the last five years reinventing himself. Born and raised in Sydney, Joel Moses is a first-generation Australian with Iraqi heritage.
He is a self-prescribed “mummy’s boy” who jokes that until recently, he was “married to his teddy bear.”
He credits his self-awareness to his mum (who still does his washing btw…), whom he describes as a “spiritual goddess” and someone who can read the signs before he even sees the signs. With a deep interest in psychology, Joel is looking for someone who can look just as deep as him (and who earns the tick of approval from his mum…good luck!).
Joel has struggled with bullying
Growing up, Joel faced a great deal of bullying and often felt different just for being himself.
However, he’s able to look at his past now with rose-coloured glasses, attributing his self-awareness, strength, and confidence to everything he went through.
Now he’s ready to meet someone who can appreciate him for him.
What is Joel looking for?
After his one and only serious relationship ended, Joel committed himself to self-improvement, fitness, and personal growth.
Although he is slightly inexperienced in the world of dating, Joel is focusing on finding that authentic, real connection.
His lifelong dream is to settle down and start a family. However, lets hope for his brides’ sake that she doesn’t end up having to mummy this adult man.
