They’re the wildcard couples who arrive mid-season, turn established dynamics upside down and send already fragile marriages into meltdown- and yes, the MAFS 2026 intruders are officially on their way.
Season 13 premiered on February 2, slightly later than in previous years, but it’s the incoming brides and grooms who are already generating the most buzz.
With multiple OG participants reportedly quitting or being axed, three brand-new couples will enter the experiment in a dramatic mid-season shake-up, and brides Gia and Bec have both given WHO exclusives on what to expect.
When will the MAFS intruders enter?
While an exact episode hasn’t been confirmed, intruders traditionally enter three to four weeks into the season – just as tensions peak and cracks begin to show.
This year appears no different, with the mid-season weddings expected to air once existing relationships are already under pressure. And, according to bride Gia, viewers should brace themselves.
“There are other villains that are going to come in we have intruders coming in another week and, oh my god, those two people are quite bad,” Gia told WHO. “People might forget about me and Bec for a bit.”

There’s a new ‘villain’ coming, Bec warned
It’s a bold claim that fans will forget about Gia and Bec’s feud, especially considering the pair have already found themselves labelled this season’s “villains”.
If Gia’s comments weren’t enough to convince you, fellow bride Bec also told WHO that one incoming participant is set to completely shift the narrative.
“There’s a new villain coming, it’s a female and you’ll know who I’m talking about the second she’s on the screen,” she told WHO.
Strap in – MAFS’ first ever same-sex intruder couple are on their way
According to the Daily Mail, among the new arrivals are Adelaide fitness model Sam Stanton and Sydney personal trainer Chris Robinson, who tied the knot recently.

Sam, known for his work as a model and coach, has a strong social media presence – though his verified Instagram account has since been switched to private under Nine’s strict rules.
Chris runs boutique training business Body Skin Soul in Sydney and has built a reputation as one of the city’s top personal trainers.
Intruder groom is a self-confessed Mummy’s boy
Another couple reportedly joining the chaos is intruder groom Joel Moses and bride Juliette Chae.
Sydney-born model and drummer Joel, 31, has described himself as “over the top” and “too much for some.”

A self-confessed mummy’s boy, his mum has joked that he still asks for back scratches and was, until recently, “married to his teddy bear.”
Paired with him is Melbourne creative Juliette Chae, who reportedly directs short films and is incredibly close to her family… hopefully she doesn’t end up mommy-ing this adult man.
