The second dinner party on MAFS didn’t disappoint with drama, with Brook making a surprise appearance (even after leaving Chris) and throwing insults at many of the brides and grooms. However, it’s Bec’s sudden buddying up with Brook and Gia that has everyone talking.
Bec and Gia have been at odds with each other since the season kicked off, but in the latest episode, it looks like Bec was trying her best to side with “mean girls” Gia and Brook to get out of the firing line.
While the pair continued to insult Stella, and then Alyssa, Bec surprisingly rolled her eyes and chimed in while the girls were accused of “bullying the others”.

It was a sudden change of alliance for Bec, and one that was short-lived after the pair turned on her and revealed that Danny, Bec’s husband, had admitted Gia was his type.
“He said I’m his type,” Gia simply said to Bec.
She later clarified to producers, explaining that Danny said: “Brook was there when Danny said what he said on Saturday night. Danny said, I’m happy, but in the outside world, someone like yourself would be more my type.”
Rumour fuels Bec’s ‘insecurity’
Bec has continued to struggle with her sense of self worth after being full of compliments for Danny at the start – even telling WHO she nicknamed him “Dan-a-conda” after the pair spent their first night together.
However, after a “sensational” night for Bec, Danny expressed that he only felt “three out of 10” sexual chemistry for his bride.

After Bec questioned Danny about whether the rumour was true at the dinner party, Gia doubled down and confirmed Brook had overheard the comment about her being his “type”.
The new alliance imploded, with Bec storming off and telling the girls not to “go for” her husband, only to be left devastated by the prospect that it was true.
Expert John Aiken said the rumour fed into Bec’s “insecurity”, with all hopes of the girls getting on quickly disintegrating.
