He was known for his long, luxurious 70s tresses in Welcome Back Kotter, his towering 50s pompadour in Grease, and his mullet in Pulp Fiction – but recently John Travolta has been more trolled than praised for what he’s been wearing on his head.
After a string of hostile headlines about his apparent hairpieces and proclivity for dye, movie icon John Travolta has finally gone natural – taking heed of current fashion and shaving what remains of his hair to present a totally bald scalp and some peppery facial hair. Gone too is the eyebrow tinting.
Making his red carpet debut as a proud bald man over the weekend at the Living Legends of Aviation Awards in Beverly Hills, the move follows his public bald debut earlier this month on Instagram
Posting with daughter Elle Blue, 18, on Instagram, the look has been a huge success with fans, who have showered the star with compliments about his look.
‘Waited more than 40 years to see your natural look!’ raved one fan, while another wrote: ‘You look great! I would keep it this way, seriously.’

Wrote one thrilled fan: ‘Yes!! Free that head!! The most manly haircut a man can have!! Own it!!’
Another gushed, ‘You look younger with no hair’.
We love it, John, keep it up!
