Justin Bieber has divided opinions after he wore only a pair of boxer shorts and socks during his Grammys performance.

The 31-year-old performed the song Yukon alone on the stage with a guitar slung around his chest, with fans confused why he decided to wear so little and appear as if was simply jamming at home – not on the world’s biggest stage for music.

What are fans saying about Justin Bieber?

Online, many fans liked the toned-down look Bieber adopted.

However, others questioned the creative choice.

“Proof again that men can do the bare minimum performance while women always have to out preform themselves to be considered good,” one person said.

“This fit so bad Justin should lose his nominations,” another said, while a third simply quipped: “Justin looks like he rolled out of bed.”

How did Hailey Bieber respond to Justin’s performance?

While Justin was on the stage, the camera focussed on his wife Hailey several times, and she appeared to be looking up adoringly at him.

She also made a love heart with her finger as he walked off the stage.

The pair walked the red carpet together in all black while sporting ‘ICE OUT’ badges – a political statement showing they are against the behaviour of US’ Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers.
