In August, Britney Spears participated in a fan Q&A for Most Requested Live with Romeo where she was quizzed about who she’d hope to work with in future and the pop star’s response certainly surprised fans.
“Aerosmith seems really good and bright. He’s a genius I think. He’s very rock n’ roll. He sings from his soul,” Britney explained. “Gwen Stefani, I think she’s great.”
The 34-year-old then confessed she would not mind working with her former boyfriend, “Justin Timberlake is very good.”
According to E! News, Timberlake wasn’t aware of Spears’ comments, but when he was asked, the 35-year-old said, “Sure! Absolutely, absolutely.”
“I have a 17 month old so I don’t get the headline news,” Timberlake explained.
“I apologise for not being in the know…I’m accessible, give us a call!”
Timberlake and Spears dated between 1999-2002.
