It’s only been a few days since she announced her split from Patrick Dwyer, but Married at First Sight’s Belinda’s post-breakup glow-up is already underway.
A few months ago, she debuted a new head of curly red tresses, adding to her quirky vibe that she often plays up with fun prints, bold colours and 70s-inspired style.
In a chat with WHO, she was asked if the new hair was inspired by her split.
“Ha, no – I just love having fun with my look but now that I’ve gone full red there’s no way I’ll go back to brown,” she admitted.
“I love my new red hair, I can’t believe I stuck with brown hair for so long,” the dancer mused.
The stunning red does seem to make Belinda’s personality pop.
However, she has revealed she is not yet ready to date again.
“I’ve never used dating apps before and I don’t plan on starting now,” the retail manager told us.
“I’m going to take a bit of time for myself.
“I’m having fun with my sister, who I’m really close to, and enjoying playing around with fashion,” she explained.
Belinda’s eccentric fashion sense definitely set her apart on this years’ season of MAFS.
The 29-year-old was often seen sporting crocheted shirt and short sets, velvet bodysuits and the occasional spangled number.
“I’d love to put my name to a range or some designs one day,” she said.
“I’m not working on it at the moment but it’s definitely something I’d like to do.”
Belinda also shared the support she had received from her fellow MAFS brides in the wake of her split.
“A few of the girls have reached out and they’re here for me. I’m in touch with Georgia, Kerry and Alana, who I heard from when the split was announced,” she shared.
“I talk to Bec a little bit. It’s hard because we’re all in different states but those girls have been there for me.”
Bec and Alana have been seen leaving lots of supportive comments and emojis on Bel’s latest posts, often pictures of herself debuting new looks.
The posts also seem to have caught the eye of one Nick Furphy, a contestant from season four of MAFS.
He has been very liberal with his use of the fire emoji on most of Belinda’s posts over the last few weeks.
