His Married At First Sight marriage to Jo Todd wasn’t exactly the stuff dreams are made of, but TV groom James Susler has officially moved on.
Taking to Instagram, the TV groom shared a selfie with his new girlfriend, actress Verity East.
“With my GF at the one of the best (and our favourite venue) in Melboune @lollo_melbourne…… Celebrating EOFY 2021. OH WOW @elieraff @reiannan1 #melbourne #lifestyle #eofy #reallifestories,” he captioned the photo.
Verity also shared a couple snap and penned: “Back at our favourite restaurant @lollo_melbourne with my numero uno 🥰❤️”
Like dad-of-three James, Verity is also a parent and is a proud mum-of-one to son, Huxley.
Fans were delighted to see James all loved up with his new lady.
“Gorgeous couple xx,” commented one.
“Wishing you both much happiness!! ❤️⭐,” penned another.
“You got yourself a keeper there, mate,” noted a third.
Prestige car salesman James was married to barber Jo on the eighth season of MAFS but despite some initial fun times, things turned sour quickly.
During one commitment ceremony, James dropped the bombshell that he was in love with another woman, only to reveal it was expert Alessandra Rampolla and it was a joke to “lighten the mood”.
At their final dinner party, Jo found the courage to stand up to James and call him out for his gaslighting behaviour before both bowed out of the experiment.
“At the back of your mind, you know it’s a reality TV show, but I really thought I could meet someone who would want to fit into my life and compromise on things,” the mum-of-three told WHO back in March.
“I don’t think he likes to be told by a woman. It wasn’t worth leaving my boys to be with someone like him.

Earlier this year Jo celebrated her 40th birthday and was accompanied by a mystery man fans presumed to be her new boyfriend, however there’s nothing romantic going on.
“I have known him for years. He supported me and was by my side throughout my process of MAFS,” she told WHO in May.
“We were still just friends after MAFS and Christmas. We have become closer. But I am not sure if I want him to be known as my new man!”
