On Sunday night’s episode of Married At First Sight, the commitment ceremony saw cheaters Jessika and Dan request to stay in the experiment as a couple.

After admitting that they were in love, their respective partners Tamara and Mick both break down in tears.

However, Jessika appears to be feeling no remorse as she asks the experts to consider keeping herself and Dan in the experiment as a new couple – in order to see if they can take their relationship to the next level.

“You’re taking the P**s out of this whole experiment!” screams Mick.

“This is not happening!” Mike shakes his head.

At this stage, a shocked Tamara yells: “They should leave!”

“People have been deeply hurt here, why would you stay here?”

Jessika goes on to explain that their geographical distance is an issue – she lives in Perth, Dan lives in the Gold Coast – and says that being alongside each other for a week might help them figure out if their relationship can work in reality.

As expected, a frustrated Mick and Tamara leave and the experts then call a meeting outside to make a formal decision.

“Although it’s a first for us we know what to do…” says John and later tells the group that Dan and Jessika are permitted to stay in the experiment.

Controversial! The other brides and grooms are absolutely unimpressed… so how will the couple go? We’ll just have to wait and see.
