MasterChef Australia 2018 finals week continues with Khanh, Sashi, Ben and Jess off to Sydney’s iconic Icebergs restaurant in Bondi for a service challenge.
With the guidance of executive chef Monty Koludrovic, the top four cooked one course each – pasta, fish, meat and dessert.
As the winner of Tuesday’s challenge, Ben was given the advantage of choosing which course he would cook. Playing to his strengths, he went with fish.
The remaining courses were decided by a knife pull, with Jess and Sashi completely out of their comfort zones with meat and pasta respectively, whilst Khanh chose dessert.
It was a stressful cook for the top four, especially Jess and Sashi. But in the end they all successfully made it in the end.
“I was pleasantly surprised once everyone got going,” Monty said at the end of the cook.
Whilst the judges were happy with all four dishes, Khanh named winner of the challenge with his “perfect” dish and is straight through to the semi-finals.

Jess, Ben and Sashi must now fight for their place in the semi-final in the next elimination challenge.
