After 10 months of dating and countless raunchy couple selfies, Cody Simpson and Miley Cyrus have called it quits.

Page Six and TMZ were the first to report the couple’s break up, before a source confirmed the news to PEOPLE.
The update comes as Miley prepares to release her new song ‘Midnight Sky’.
The ‘Wrecking Ball’ singer teased the new release just days ago, with what now appears to be a cryptic hint at the split.
In an Instagram post promoting the track, Miley wrote: “Forever and ever no more. The #MidnightSky is the road I’m taking…. head high up in the clouds.”
In a recent tell-all interview with the The Sydney Morning Herald, Cody talked about his relationship with Miley and the way she inspired him.
“Being with Miley is a wonderful thing in my life. She is creative and inspiring, fiercely independent and encourages me to be my own person, too. We are both creative individuals who support one another with our work,” Cody said.
“Miley also inspires my art. There’s some romance in the poems I have written and yeah, they might be about her. It’s inevitable that what happens in my private life comes out in my work.”
Cody, 23, also posted a loving tribute to Miley, 27, just weeks ago, captioning the sweet photo: “In love with my best friend.”

The couple began dating shortly after Miley’s split from Kaitlynn Carter, the ex of Brody Jenner, whom she moved on with after her relationship with husband Liam Hemsworth ended.
Miley and Liam’s divorce was finalised in January.
In a chat with news.com.au about Liam’s impressive Men’s Health Australia cover, brother Chris Hemsworth hinted that he was glad the couple had finally gone their separate ways.

“He’s out there training and staying fit, and back in Australia doing his thing. It’s Australian living, I guess. We got him out of Malibu!” Chris said.
As we know, the pop sensation and Hunger Games actor— who called time on their relationship eight months after tying the knot— owned a home together in Malibu. It’s also the name of her 2017 hit single, which details how she fell in love with Liam again after briefly splitting.
