For months Masked Singer viewers wait with bated breath to see which celebrities will appear on the hit singing show, but reality TV darling Abbie Chatfield has fuelled rumours she could having a starring role in the upcoming season.

Speculation began when Abbie, who shot to national fame after appearing on Matt Agnew’s season of The Bachelor in 2019, recently moved to Sydney from Brisbane where the Network Ten singing show is currently being filmed.
Abbie was photographed in Sydney on July 3, just days after production for the third season got underway in the harbour city.
If the whispers are true, The Masked Singer would be the third reality series the 25-year-old would have appeared on, after coming second on The Bachelor and more recently being crowned Queen of the Jungle on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of here!
Since making the move to Sydney, Abbie has uploaded several videos to her 269,000 Instagram followers of her singing and dancing at home – only adding further fuel to the rumour mill.
But the hint-dropping didn’t end there.
Last month the outspoken social media star filmed a video lip syncing Dolly Parton’s Island In the Stream.
“Rehearsal for our karaoke debut must go on, even in lockdown. Any tips from choreographers appreciated. Let’s make this a performance you can’t forget,” she wrote alongside the post.
Abbie later uploaded another post saying she was “born for the stage” along with another singing clip.
“[My] voice still isn’t 100% but I was born for the stage. I carried the team with choreo. Can’t deny it,” she wrote.
It comes after former Home and Away star Tammin Sursok fuelled rumours she would also be appearing on the show.
The 37-year-old recently made an unexpected return to Australia, revealing she’s arrived for some upcoming unnamed work projects.
Tammin shared a series of Instagram posts documenting the return trip, as well as her hotel quarantine with her husband and their two young daughters.
New Idea hears that the main reason for the TV star’s return is to appear on The Masked Singer.
The former Pretty Little Liars actress has a musical background that would make her a shoo-in for the hit singing competition.
