As The Block swings into its 20th year, it’s safe to say tradie-turned-TV host Scott Cam has become a household name in Australia.
But what do we know about the 61-year-old’s family life?
At home, the 2014 Gold Logie winner is a loving husband to wife Ann and father to three kids: Charlie, Bill and Sarah.

Cam is relatively private about his life away from The Block, meaning he only offers rare glimpses to his family and children.
They occasionally pop up on his social media feed, and when they do, it’s usually for a special occasion – a birthday, Father’s Day or a university graduation.
In 2023, Cam celebrated his milestone 60th birthday with son Charlie, born in 1996, and younger twins, Bill and Sarah, born in 1999.
Sharing a photo of his family on his Instagram page, he wrote: ”I turned 60 today; my kids looked after me a treat. I love them.”
A few weeks later, the TV personality followed up with another glimpse into life with his three kids. The star posted a snap alongside his two boys, writing they had spent the weekend at their “favourite” spot in Milton: The Altar Wine Bar.
In March 2023, he shared another photo alongside Charlie, Bill, and Sarah, writing: “Heading off to Melbourne to start The Block, having our goodbye lunch with my kids.”
“They’re so grown up, it’s hard to believe,” one friend commented.
On Father’s Day 2023, he also shared a sweet family portrait.
“Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there,” he wrote. “Remember we are living in our kids’ memories. I’m very lucky that my kids are beautiful people.”

In October 2023, Cam appeared on the podcast How Other Dads Dad, where host Hamish Blake talked about The Block star’s favourite parenting mantra.
“The one thing you said that stuck in my head… you’ve had the philosophy from when you were a young dad that ‘we’re living in our kids’ memories’,” Blake said.
“That’s right. It’s my favourite saying,” Cam responded. “I picked that up when my kids were five or six. I realised in my childhood that I have these terrific memories that I look back on all the time.
“I’ve done a million things from the age of three to now, but I’ve got a handful of these memories.
“Therefore, I thought – we’re living in a million different things our kids are doing, so we’ve got to try and make them all fantastic so they end up with a handful of memories they can really look back on.”

How old are Scott Cam’s children?
All three of Cam’s children have private Instagram accounts, but there are a few things we know about them.
Charlie was born in 1996, and younger twins Bill and Sarah were born in 1999.
They have all graduated from the University of Technology Sydney, with Scotty taking to Instagram over the years to celebrate the three graduations.
When his eldest son graduated, Cam commented: “Proud parents today, first son has graduated from uni with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering with First Class Honours and Bachelor of Business with Distinction…My heart is full.”
Next, it was the twin’s turn to graduate, with the proud dad taking to Instagram once again to congratulate his children on their latest milestone.
“Bill and Sarah, congratulations on finishing your Bachelor degrees with flying colours,” he wrote. “My heart is now officially overflowing!!!”

Who is Scotty Cam’s wife?
As for mum Ann, she has been married to Scotty Cam for nearly 30 years.
The pair first met in 1989 when Ann was a school teacher – and Cam was “completely smitten”, telling Woman’s Day in 2011 that it was “love at first sight”.
“I went home and told my mum I’d met the girl I was going to marry,” he said, adding that Ann was “a great mum”.
“She looks after me and has done since the day I met her,” he said.
