Mark your calendars; The Block is coming back in 2025, and here’s the lowdown on what to expect.

Where is the next Block in 2025?

The Block 2025 will take place in the Victorian country town, Daylesford.

The contestants will have to build five homes “from scratch” on a plot of land located on Raglan Street.

These fresh digs will form a new neighbourhood within Hygge Property’s Middleton Field – a new housing estate located in Daylesford’s east.

Who is hosting The Block 2025?

Scott Cam and Shelley Craft are back to host The Block in 2025, with Shaynna Blaze, Darren Palmer and Marty Fox returning to the judging panel.

Will Keith be on The Block in 2025?

The Block’s beloved ‘Blockinator’ Keith Schleiger didn’t return as Foreman for the 2024 season.

After more than a decade on the tools, he stepped away to prioritise time with his wife Rebecca and their daughters, Ebony and Jasmine.

He did pop in for a quick cameo but whether he’ll show up again in 2025 is still under wraps.

Will Dan return?

In Keith’s place, longtime fan favourite Dan Reilly took the reins as Foreman in 2024.

But heading into the 2025 season, fans weren’t sure if Dan would be back.

In heartbreaking news shared on December 20, 2024, Dan and his wife Dani revealed they had lost their newborn daughter, Billie.

“It is with insurmountable grief that we share the news that our daughter Billie, has passed on from this life and into the next at just 10 days young,” they wrote in a deeply emotional Instagram post.

“In Billie’s short time in this world, she taught us an intensity of both love and pain we never knew [was] possible. She taught us what really matters. Billie was so wanted, so loved and she made us parents… and what an honour it is to be her mummy and daddy. She will always be our daughter.”

Despite the unimaginable loss, Dan is returning as Foreman for the 2025 season.

He and Dani, along with their dogs Hazel and Olive, relocated to Daylesford while the 2025 season was filming.

Dani shared a touching update on Instagram in March of this year, as they settled into their new – and emotionally complex – chapter.

“Today, we (me, Hazel and Olive) relocated to Daylesford to be with Dan while he films the next Block. As you can imagine, this next period was supposed to be something it’s now not,” she wrote.

“We were so excited for this three month adventure with our little family… Billie had the cutest little wardrobe ready to roll too. So many things like this that actually don’t (and never did) really matter,” she continued.

“The hardest part of the next three months will now be surrendering to what this time actually is in real time, and not holding expectations or resentment about what it’s now not.”

Who are the contestants on The Block Daylesford?

Not too many details about the 2025 Block contestants have been released.

At this stage, we just know their names: Emma and Ben, Can and Han, Robby and Mat, Alicia and Sonny, and Britt and Taz.

We also know that Married at First Sight (MAFS) participant Dave Thomas Hand will appear on The Block 2025.

Not as a contestant though; Dave will be one of the tradesmen; unsurprising as he works as a caulking specialist and owns his own business, Silicone Valley Caulking.
