As the highly anticipated second season of Colin From Accounts premieres, fans are eager to dive back into the hilarious and heartwarming world of Ashley and Gordon, and of course, their lovable dog, Colin.
Created by and starring real-life couple Harriet Dyer and Patrick Brammall, this breakout hit series has captured the hearts of audiences worldwide with its unique blend of humour, relatability, and genuine emotion.
What is Colin From Accounts about?
Colin From Accounts follows the story of Ashley and Gordon, two imperfect individuals who are brought together by an unexpected accident involving a stray dog, Colin. As they navigate the ups and downs of their budding relationship, they face a series of comedic and heartfelt challenges that resonate with viewers of all ages.
Season 2 picks up just two weeks after the events of the first season, exploring the next stages of Ashley and Gordon’s relationship as they confront new dilemmas and deepen their connections with each other and those around them. With even more laughs, surprises, and touching moments, this season promises to be 20% hotter, 20% funnier, and 20% bigger.
“To be clear, it was described that way by us,” Patrick tells WHO ahead of the season two premiere.
“Because we don’t have the novel beginning of the nippel flash and dog car accident we had to raise the bar a little since it’s not ‘new’ anymore,” adds Harriet. “People can expect a wedding, they can expect a death, they can expect a baby.”
“It’s still that ripple effect from season one. We just go a little bit deeper into everybody…especially Ash and Gordon. They’re living together now, but should they be together? Now that the dust has settled, we’re opening those doors,” Patrick continues.

Are the couple from Colin from Accounts married?
Yes, the couple from Colin From Accounts, Harriet Dyer and Patrick Brammall, are married in real life! Not only do the pair share an on-screen romance, but they also co-created and co-wrote the show together.
The couple, who currently live in America with their daughter Joni who they adopted in 2021, admits juggling the roles of costars, parents and partners can be difficult.
“It’s a balance…I heard someone say you can have it all, you’ll just be really tired and that’s what it feels like,” Harriet tells WHO. “Because the job takes up a lot of time, and then you want to show up for your kid and for each other.
“It’s happening and we just have to rise to it,” Patrick confirms.
