Are we getting a Season 5 of Emily in Paris?
Yes, on September 16, 2024, Netflix renewed the series for a fifth season.
Filming began in early 2025, first look images were released in August 2025 (they’re all throughout this article) and the season will premiere in December 2025.
How do I watch Season 5 of Emily in Paris?
Season 5 will be released on Netflix on December 18, 2025.
Currently, Seasons 1 to 4 are available exclusively on the streamer.
Who’s in the new season?
Lily Collins, who plays the titular – and oh, so annoying yet lovable – Emily, will obviously return.
Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, Samuel Arnold, Bruno Gouery, William Abadie, Lucien Laviscount, Eugenio Franceschini, Thalia Besson, Paul Forman, Arnaud Binard, Minnie Driver, Bryan Greenberg, and Michèle Laroque will also star in Season 5.
Sadly, Camille Razat, who played Emily’s friend and Gabriel’s on-again, off-again girlfriend Camille for the first four seasons, will not return for Season 5.
What will the new season be about?
Well, we’re wondering if the show should be re-titled to Emily in Rome after reading the official logline for Season 5.
“Now the head of Agence Grateau Rome, Emily faces professional and romantic challenges as she adapts to life in a new city. But just as everything falls into place, a work idea backfires, and the fallout cascades into heartbreak and career setbacks,” it reads.
“Seeking stability, Emily leans into her French lifestyle, until a big secret threatens one of her closest relationships. Tackling conflict with honesty, Emily emerges with deeper connections, renewed clarity, and a readiness to embrace new possibilities.”
Will Emily end up with Gabriel?
Emily and Gabriel are the epitome of the ‘will they, won’t they?’ trope.
It’s still unclear if the two will end up together – they finally dated during Season 4 but broke up mid-season.
And by the end of Season 4, (spoiler) Emily had moved to Rome and was happily dating Marcello.
Of course, the final moments teased that Gabriel was planning on visiting Emily in Rome; so we’re sure the ‘will they, won’t they?’ will continue in the upcoming season.
