While the contestant’s journey through FBoy Island is typically shrouded in mystery, contestant Nicole found a valuable insider source in f-boy Nathan, who after sharing his sexuality during a one-on-one date, stepped into the competition as a “mole” to weed out the rest of the boys on the island.
With his loyalty to the girls earning him a place in the final two, some fans were convinced that his insider work would grant him half of the $50,000 prize. Despite their newfound friendship, Nicole ultimately joined the competition to find her ‘Mr. Right’ and after weeks of drama, flirting, and a whole lot of fun, Nicole followed her heart and left the competition with nice guy Jack.
In the lead-up to the finale, Nicole was faced with an emotional final plea from fellow nice guy Sean and while they may have had some stellar chemistry, Nicole made the difficult decision to send him home.
Reflecting on her decision, Nicole told POPSUGAR Australia, “Jack was always my grounding place. Even during group dates when we couldn’t speak, there was always this calmness between us… I knew that’s who I wanted to spend more time with and leave the island with.”
Are Nicole and Jack still together?
After cementing their connection in the finale, Nicole and Jack’s romance is still going strong, with the couple confirming they are still together!
Six months after filming wrapped, Nicole and Jack have been navigating a long-distance relationship, with Nicole based in Geelong and Jack staying on the sunny shores of the Gold Coast.
We’re excited to live life and start our life,” Jack told PEDESTRIAN TV, adding, “We’re ready to build a future and start our lives together. We’re going to take a holiday, and fall more in love.”
“It’s such a special moment because I can’t really see a life without Nicole in it now. To start that and build that is a really exciting chapter.”
Looking back on their experience, Nicole told POPSUGAR Australia, “People might doubt if you can find love on FBoy Island, but at the end of the day, we’re all still human. Jack and I are in the healthiest relationship either of us has ever been in. We’re so happy and smitten. It’s everything we both wanted.”
