The Bachelor‘s Emma Roche is quickly earning a reputation as a clinger on this season of the popular dating show.
However, the 32-year-old brand manager said Network 10 used “terrible editing” to make her look needier than she actually is and is shutting down rumours that she is a “stage 5 clinger.”

It’s no secret that Emma thinks this year’s Bachelor, Matt Agnew is dreamy.
“God, he’s beautiful, I love him,” Emma gushed about the astrophysicist in Thursday’s episode of The Bachelor, quickly adding, “No, I really … I don’t, but, yeah.”
The bubbly blonde is notably more determined and excited to fall in love than her fellow contestants.
“I hate to be sharing, but I feel so lucky to be here and to be in with a chance to find the love of my life. I can’t even believe I’m saying that,” Emma said after first locking eyes with the Bachelor.
Viewers were quick to point out the warning signs of clingy behaviour (perhaps because of their previous experience with Cass Wood in last year’s season of the Channel 10 show).
“Let me know which episode they discover Emma’s shrine to Matt’s used deodorant & that cup he had a sip from once,” one user tweeted.
However, could this all be a careful selection of clips?
Emma seems to think so.
The Bachelor contestant took to social media to share her perspective on her portrayal, sharing some of her stunning promo photos to her Instagram story.
“Terrible editing! Love, Love, love” she wrote on the first image, where the fashion label manager was pictured beaming in a dark green gown.
“DO NOT believe everything you see ‘reality,'” Emma added on a second photo.

In an interview with an Australian publication, Emma denied that she was this season’s Cass – who was known as a Stage 5 clinger in last year’s season of The Bachelor.
“Cass is a beautiful girl, but I’m nothing like her,” Emma said.
“I definitely don’t want to come across as Cass whatsoever.”
One of her co-stars feels differently.
“I think Emma is a bit clingy,” said Rachael – who arrived in a wedding dress and is said to be this season’s villain.
The 23-year-old called her a stage 15 clinger in her onscreen interview.
“There’s stage five, and then there’s Emma, so I would say she’s like a stage 10, 15. I’m not threatened by that desperado, thank you next!”

Emma also opened up about her feelings for the hunk while speaking to the publication.
“He is everything I’m looking for and he’s absolutely gorgeous!” the Irish-Australian gushed.
“We’re definitely on the same page as we’re the same age, we’re both mature and both know what we want. I definitely think we have a lot of similarities and are a good match for each other,” Emma continued.
The Bachelor star also said she couldn’t wait to introduce him to her family, despite not knowing their romantic fate.
“He’s got his life together and knows what he wants. He’s just a really good guy, so my family would be thrilled if I were to end up with him,” Emma said.
The jury is still out on this one.
