The Breakfast Club star Anthony Michael Hall has been charged with felony assault after a serious incident with his neighbour.
The 48-year-old actor known for playing Brian Johnson in the 1985 hit coming-of-age film caused “serious bodily injury” and could serve up to seven years in prison, E! News reports.
Court documents show the actor, who also starred in Sixteen Candles alongside Molly Ringwald, used “violent force” against his neighbour, with TMZ reporting Hall broke the neighbour’s wrist and back.

Hall’s sentence was increased to seven years from four due to the bodily injury charge against him.

This is the second time the actor has been in legal hot water. In 2011 he was booked on suspicion of disturbing the peace after an incident with another one of his neighbours.
