Tom Hiddleston and Zawe Ashton have expanded their family, welcoming their second child together, the couple confirmed.
Hiddleston, 44, revealed the joyful news in a recent GQ interview, describing the birth as a “beautiful, profound, earth-shattering, life-altering” experience.
The couple first met while co-starring in the 2019 play Betrayal and got engaged in 2022.
They welcomed their first child in October 2022, though didn’t share the name or gender, preferring to keep their personal life private.

Zawe, 41, subtly hinted at the arrival last month with an Instagram post reflecting on postpartum recovery and her work supporting children’s causes, before Tom’s interview made the news official.
“Today, I chose to mark a milestone in postpartum recovery with a trip to one of the @littlevillagehq baby banks, dedicated to supporting families all year round,” she wrote in her caption.
“Throughout my recovery, I have thought deeply about the children in our world facing the most devastating living conditions and those tirelessly working to protect them. I’ve reflected deeply on the ongoing war against children, a fight I am fiercely committed to.”

The pair had previously announced the pregnancy in June 2025, when Zawe debuted her baby bump at the SXSW London premiere of Tom’s film The Life of Chuck.
They have continued to maintain a protective approach to their family’s privacy, with neither the name nor the gender of the newest baby publicly disclosed.
