While many of your beloved guides are returning, Nine Network is STILL holding auditions for the upcoming season of every Aussie adventurer’s favourite series, Travel Guides.
The submissions deadline has been pushed out to midnight Sunday, April 28, 2019. So if you’re up for the adventure of a lifetime, quit trawling the internet for the cheapest deals and APPLY NOW!
If you need some advice on what it takes to score a spot in the series, Travel Guides’ Stack said producers are looking for something different.
“I think it takes a bubbly personality and an honest person to be considered for Travel Guides, I think they look for something a bit different” she told 9Honey Travel. “Don’t bulls–t on your application, be true and honest about yourself. And remember you will be travelling and living in each other’s pockets so you want to have a very good relationship with the people you travel with,” she cautioned.
If you’re going to apply, you must be over the age of 18 and be a group of two to four people. All applicants must be Australian citizens or have been a permanent resident for at least two years. You’ll also need to be able to travel between July and November.

Travel Guides isn’t the only fan-favourite series looking for new cast members. You can also apply to be on season 10 of Gogglebox Australia.
Last month, Foxtel announced that casting is open for two new households to join the three-time Logie award-winning series. And for the first time, those households will be from Brisbane!
So if you’re a couch potato from the Sunshine State who has a lot to say when you turn on the telly, get off your backside and apply because you could very well be appearing on the small screen in a matter of months!
