Jennifer Hawkins doesn’t just stop at modelling and beauty.
The former Miss Universe Australia is currently in the midst of building a home with husband Jake Wall, but it hasn’t exactly been easy.
The 33-year-old told The Daily Telegraph that they have experienced struggles with their Pittwater project.
“We are definitely keen to move in, it just won’t be for a while as we are still under construction,” the J-Bronze founder said.
“It’s been a really challenging build as it’s on a very steep block so everything takes a lot longer.”
Despite the troubles, Hawkins has developed a love for interior design and landscaping.
“We are in the middle of planning interiors and of course, now I’m into lounges, rugs and plants,” she revealed.
“My dad’s really into gardening and knows every plant name possible, so that’s been one of my favourite parts of this build, talking landscaping with him.”
