Kate Miller-Heidki ROBBED of Eurovision crown

Fans are outraged after Kate Miller-Heidke placed ninth in the 64th Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv, Israel on Sunday.

In the lead-up to the production’s grand final, Australians were sure the 37-year-old would take home the gong for her song Zero Gravity.

“Can’t believe kate miller-heidke came 9th in eurovision. disappointed and outraged,” one fan complained via Twitter, while another wrote, “Kate Miller-Heidke was robbed.”

Kate – whose performance saw her float in the sky against a backdrop of whimsical pyrotechnics – scored 285, well behind the Netherlands who won the competition with 492 points.

Second place went to Italy on 465, and third place was awarded to Russia on 369.

Despite fans’ fury, Kate herself was stoked with the result, telling her followers via Instagram, “TOP FARKEN TEN, BITCHES”

And thanked the world for their cheers. “Thank you everyone at home who got up early to watch, and to everyone in Europe who voted for me I’m so incredibly grateful.”
