If last year’s Black Friday and Cyber Monday were anything to go by, this year is going to be big. We saw jaw-dropping discounts across fashion, beauty, home, and travel — and we’re expecting retailers to bring the heat again.
From up to 80 per cent off summer dresses to hundreds of dollars off Dyson hair tools, shoppers scored major wins in 2024. Fashion favourites like Aje, Country Road, and The Iconic slashed prices by up to half, while beauty giants like Adore Beauty and Sephora offered serious savings on cult-favourite products.
Homewares didn’t miss out either — Sheridan, Adairs, and Temple & Webster ran deep discounts, and luggage brands like Samsonite and Antler had massive markdowns ahead of the holiday travel rush.

Marking the beginning of the Christmas season, Black Friday is celebrated as one of the year’s largest sales events. This means you can expect to see major price drops across fashion, beauty, tech and more. There are sales both in-store and online, which means it’s easier for you to find the best deals, however you shop.
This year, the sale falls on Friday, November 28. And luckily for us, the sale will run through to Cyber Monday, December 1. Ultimately, this means four days of discounted shopping, and over a weekend too.
Last year, Black Friday sales made a serious impact down under, with Aussie favourites like David Jones and Arms of Eve jumping on board. If 2025 follows the same trend, expect a solid lineup of deals from both big and small local brands once again.
