When it was announced that Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan would be doing a tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey, royal fans around the world knew it was going to make history.

On Monday a teaser trailer of what’s to come dropped that features the moment Oprah ominously asks Meghan: “Were you silent or were you silenced? I just want to make it clear to everybody. There is no subject that’s off limits.”

Later on, Prince Harry states: “My biggest concern was history repeating itself” – a comment most likely alluding to his late mother Princess Diana and her relationship with the press.

Though Meghan was silent in the clip, the Duchess of Sussex looked radiant in a black and white belted Armani dress with her hair in a signature messy bun.

But eagle-eyed fans were drawn to a certain accessory she decided to wear for the interview that holds a lot of significance.

On her wrist, Meghan wore a trio of bracelets in gold and silver including a diamond tennis one that looks very much like a piece from Princess Diana’s collection.

This isn’t the first time the Duchess has worn her late mother-in-law’s jewellery – on her wedding day she wore Diana’s aquamarine ring to her reception and then later that year during her Australia and New Zealand royal tour, fans noticed that she wore Diana’s famous butterfly earrings.

What’s more, her engagement ring features two diamonds from Diana’s personal collection.

Diamond bracelets aren’t exactly something we can treat ourselves with on the reg, but thankfully there are some stunning and much more budget-friendly options available to buy here in Australia.
