She may keep a low profile but Rooke is the driving force behind one of the most visible charities in the country: Love Your Sister, founded by Connie and Samuel Johnson.
Rooke was his sister’s “bestie since, like, forever,” wrote Samuel in a heartfelt Instagram post shortly before Connie’s death from cancer on Sept. 8. “She runs LYS top to bottom since Day 1. On her business card her title is quite rightly The Hectickest.”
Rooke honours her best friend’s legacy by pushing Love Your Sister to meet ever higher fundraising goals—to date the charity has raised $7m towards “cancer vanquishment.”
