Record sale

Stonington Mansion in the exclusive suburb of Malvern, broke the Victorian house price record when it sold in 2018 for the record breaking price of $52.7 million.

The Italian Renaissance mansion was built in 1890 and sold by art dealer Rod Menzies to an unnamed Asian buyer. Previous tenants include King George VI and the Queen Mother (when they were the Duke and Duchess of York) and King Richard III.
