QANTAS has been named as the number one airline in Australia by travel website TripAdvisor for the third consecutive year.
The 2019 Travellers’ Choice Awards for airlines, based on travellers’ reviews, were announced today and honoured 57 airlines that provide exceptional service and value across the globe.
Air New Zealand took the top spot for the South Pacific, while Singapore Airlines held its position as the best carrier in the world for the second consecutive year.
“The airline industry continues to focus on improving the overall flying experience, and these award-winning carriers are at the forefront,” said Bryan Saltzburg, president of TripAdvisor Flights, Cruise & Car. “Airlines worldwide recognise this Travellers’ Choice award as a huge testament to consumer recognition.”
Qantas also took out the top gong for Best First Class in South Pacific & Oceania, while Emirates won Best First Class in the world.
Voted number eight in the ranking of the world’s top 10 airlines, Air New Zealand also took out Best Premium Economy in the South Pacific & Oceania and the world as well as Best Business Class and Best Economy in South Pacific & Oceania.
