Regent Seven Seas Cruises have just announced details of their exclusive Regent Suite on board Seven Seas Splendor – which makes its maiden voyage in February 2020 – which will cost close to a staggering AU$16,000 a night and is said to be the largest suite ever built on a luxury cruise ship.
Perched on the 14th deck and twice the size of the average Australian home, the patatial 412 square-metre Regent Suite, styled by Tillberg Design of Sweden, boasts a floor-to-ceiling ocean-view shower, in-suite spa retreat featuring a personal sauna, a treatment area with unlimited spa treatments and 270-degree views of some of the world’s most beautiful detsinations from the wraparound veranda.
No expense has been spared with the interior décor featuring bespoke art works and sculptures, exotic woods, handcrafted furishings, Italian marble and golden chandeliers.
Those living it up in the Regent Suite will have a dedicated personal butler, a personal car with driver and guide in every port, however the peace de resistence is the custom, hand-crafted $280,000 Hastens Vividus bed, built by four master artisans over 300 hours.
