Erin Molan is insisting all is fine with fiancé Sean Ogilvy after increasing speculation that the couple have secretly split.
Speaking to The Daily Telegraph, the Nine reporter claimed she is happy and that the couple just prefer to keep their relationship private.
‘We are very happy, I don’t talk about Sean a lot because his job is quite a unique job so we’re quite private when it comes to our relationship,’ she told the publication, before going on to say their main priority was their 22-month-old daughter, Eliza.
‘But we are both very good and happy and we’re very much in love with our daughter which is the most important thing,” Erin added.
The couple’s relationship has been the subject of persistent rumours over the past few months, especially as Erin hasn’t been spotted wearing her $100,000 engagement ring from homicide detective, Sean since last June – and the couple haven’t been seen in public together since December.
However, it was an apparently throwaway comment from Erin live on air last week that once again sparked split speculation.
‘Ahhh to be young and in love again, wouldn’t that be nice,’ she said during a report on Channel Nine discussing Newcastle Knights captain Mitchell Pearce’s engagement to Kristi Scott.
Erin and Sean announced their engagement in April 2017, one year after dating, with Erin apparently not so shy at the time about showing off her stunning engagement ring.
The couple welcomed Eliza the following June.
