Married At First Sight has officially made its way down the aisle.
On the premiere, the experts paired up Jules, 36, and Cam, 34…
And it seemed to be the perfect match!
But the bride’s mum was rather nervous.
“She was beside herself,” Jules told 9Honey Celebrity.
“She was hysterically crying that I had chosen to do this.”
Even Jules’ dad was shocked by how Evelyn reacted.
“He didn’t expect it either. He was like, ‘Whoa, that was a little bit much, isn’t it?'”
His concern was that his daughter might ‘get a dud’ for a husband.
“I was like, ‘Oh, I’ll just send him back!’ But my mum, surprisingly, I thought she would’ve been the one that would’ve been really happy but she was really, really upset, which I was absolutely shocked by. I was like ‘Oh my God, who are you?’ She was so upset.”
Thankfully, for now, the mother of the bride has nothing to cry about.
The newlyweds seem completely taken by each other.
“They just seem so comfortable together didn’t they? I mean you saw what I saw,” Evelyn said following the ceremony.
“They just seem really happy!”
