They recently came to verbal blows over Dean’s disrespectful behaviour and things got fiery again when foes Charlene and Dean were paired up in a one-on-one chat!
During their catch up, Charlene wouldn’t back down with her line of questioning and hammered Dean about his treatment of Tracey and his talk of wife swapping.
And, while it might seem like Charlene is beating a dead horse, the 33-year-old tells WHO that it wasn’t an isolated incident, the men had a “general, loose conversation about it constantly throughout the experiment.”
Despite Charlene’s insistence that Dean admits that his behaviour was wrong, the 39-year-old remained adamant that it was all a bit of fun and he had nothing to be ashamed about.
“The thing with Dean is, it’s an eight-week experiment – how many incidents does he need to have before he realises he’s done the wrong thing?” Charlene says.
It wasn’t only Charlene that felt the effects of the dinner party fallout, her “husband” Patrick was ostracised from the guy’s group after divulging details of the boys’ night to Charlene.
“Absolutely he [Patrick] was bullied by being ostracised and excluded. Pat and I were really lucky that when all that stuff was going on, we had each other and backed each other to the end. But it was hard for him going into the cocktail party where everybody is drinking and laughing and he was positioned very much on the side. Not wanting to get in amongst it and knowing there were judge-y eyes on him as a result of speaking out.”
Even though Charlene held court for much of last night’s tense meeting, Dean managed to land a few punches as well – so much so that he had Charlene rethinking her relationship with Patrick due to their lack of passion.
