Why you won’t see Prince Harry and Meghan Markle until the royal wedding

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will tie the knot in front of the world in just over two weeks on May 19.

The wedding of the year will take place at St. George’s Chapel Windsor Castle where everyone’s favourite royal and his American fiancé will say ‘I do’.

But don’t expect to see the couple in public before then.

Harry and Meghan are not scheduled to attend any further public events or engagements until their wedding day on May 19.

So the next time you officially see the couple is when they are about to become husband and wife.

The couple will tie the knot in front of hundreds of guests before celebrating their nuptials at during a nighttime reception at Frogmore House.

A source told PEOPLE that the groom-to-be is “exceptionally happy, extremely excited” about his nuptials to fiancée Meghan Markle.
