Teresa Palmer Opens Up on Recent Miscarriage

The Fall Guy’s Teresa Palmer has shared with fans candid details of her recent miscarriage. 

The mother of five took to Instagram to speak about her experience, posting a video of her journey, which included footage of her sharing the exciting news with her children, documenting her growing baby bump, and insight into the Aussie actress’ recovery and healing process following the pregnancy loss. 

“It feels really good to be able to share my story,” the 38-year-old wrote in the caption alongside the video.

“Honoured and grateful to have been able to carry this little soul, my fifth baby, in my heart and body for the past three months. Sometimes in life things happen that we just don’t understand. Brimming with gratitude for my people who have held me close during this time.”

“To anyone who knows the pain of pregnancy loss, sending you immense love,” she continued, before directing audiences to the latest episode of her podcast The Motherdaze, in which she shares her full story.

Teresa shares four children with husband Mark Webber – Bodhi Rain, nine, Forest Sage, six, Poet Lake, four, and Prairie Moon, two. 

The couple also co-parent Mark’s 15-year-old son Isaac Love, whom he shares with his ex, Frankie Shaw.

The couple, who wed in 2013, have long been open with their desire for a large family, with Teresa admitting she brought up her wish for six children on their first date. 

“He said he also wanted six,” she shared in an interview with The Daily Telegraph. “So I am holding him to that number.”

Speaking to WHO at the 2024 AACTA Awards, Teresa opened up about how she juggles her successful film career with the demands of motherhood, saying, “Well, I have five children, and then I’m working a lot, so it’s every day. It’s just juggling logistics.” 

Despite her busy schedule, the 38-year-old shared, “I wouldn’t have it any other way. I just love the vibrancy of my life and I love that I get to do both things. I get to have my dream career and also parent all of these beautiful children, so I feel very grateful.”
