Adrian Portelli and his partner, Karlie Butler, have quietly welcomed their second child. He shared the news on Instagram last night, revealing the name to be Ayla Grace Portelli.
In the heartfelt photo he shared with both his newborn and 2-year-old son Mercy, Portelli writes, “Welcome to the world Ayla Grace Portelli. The greatest birthday gift I could have ever received.”
Fans and friends flooded to the comments with congratulations and birthday wishes.
“I love how private you manage to keep your personal life while still having such a public image. Huge congratulations to you and your beautiful family,” one user commented.
In an interview with New Idea, Portelli gushes over the joy of becoming second-time parents. He shares how “relaxed” and “present” he feels as well as how well Mercy has adjusted to being a big brother.
“There’s curiosity, a little bit of protectiveness, and a lot of sweet moments already.”

Who is Adrian “Lambo Guy” Portelli?
Adrian Portelli is a 36-year-old Melbourne based billionaire and entrepreneur who founded the rewards company LMCT+ in 2018.
Through monthly subscriptions and one-off purchases from customers, the company uses a legal loophole to give members a chance to win big with high-end goods ranging from luxury homes and cars to cash prizes.

However, he is better known for his bidding streak on The Block from 2022 to 2024. It was here where he rose to fame, earning the nickname “Lambo Guy” after turning up to 2022’s auction day in a yellow Lamborghini. Now that’s an entrance.
This stunt was only the beginning.
After already buying four homes across the 2022 and 2023 season, Portelli shocked viewers and contestants in 2024 when he bought all five houses, splashing out over $15 million.
How did Adrian Portelli become successful?
Portelli prides himself in working hard for his success. In a March 2024 social media post, he revealed that he’d spent “eight years and $100 million” to build a brand centered on trust.
“Our pixels, our social media, are so warm that we can just throw money at it and it will convert,” Adrian revealed.
Now, with a database and social following across his personal and LMCT+ accounts in the millions, Portelli has turned his passion for cars into a business built for virality.
In The Block 2022, Portelli bought up House Three and then swiftly raffled it off through LMCT+.
However, in December 2024, Portelli was hit with charges over claims that he had been running illegal lotteries in South Australia. He faces nine charges of personally conducting or assisting in the conduct of an unlawful lottery, and his company, Xclusive Tech Pty Ltd, which operates under the brand LMCT+, has been charged with ten similar counts. Each offence carries a maximum charge of $10,000.
Last year in September, Portelli faced a two-day trial in Adelaide Magistrates Court. Portelli pleaded not guilty to the charges, but noted on social media that if charged, he would “round it up to $200,000.”
So far, no final decision or verdict has been reached.
Why did Adrian Portelli buy all five houses on The Block 2024?
Portelli’s decision to buy all five houses on Phillip Island resort in the 2024 season of The Block drummed up significant media attention, bringing in new clients and prizes for LMCT+.
However, while owning all the amenities on the Island was a big enticement, he also wanted to exit the show with a bang, securing what he called “the royal flush.”
Will Adrian Portelli be returning to The Block 2026?
Portelli revealed that the 2024 season of The Block would be his final year. However, that doesn’t mean we won’t be seeing him on our screens this year.
He has joined Chanel 7’s new renovation show, My Reno Rules.

In an Instagram post shared by Portelli in July 2025, he announced his involvement in the show. Assuming more of a behind-the-scenes role, Portelli has stepped in as a principle sponsor and bought both of the properties for about $2.7 million.
Hosted by Dr Chris Brown, this series follows four teams renovating two neighbouring rundown homes in Bulleen, Melbourne. The best part? There is no auction. Instead, two lucky viewers will win the renovated homes through a live prize draw in the grand finale.
Portelli announced the wrap to filming in a photo he posted sitting on top of a pink Porche Carrera GT.

He spoke to Sunrise about the accessibility of this new format.
“It’s an awesome feeling to be able to take the viewers on an emotional journey, watch the houses get renovated and transformed into a dream luxury home, then potentially win it,” he said.
“It’s fantastic. It’s phenomenal.”
