Mel Gibson and Rosalind Ross welcomes baby boy

Congratulations to Mel Gibson who has welcomed a son with his girlfriend Rosalind Ross.

This is the first child for Gibson, 61, and his girlfriend of two years, Rosalind, 26.

Lars Gerard Gibson was born Saturday, January 22, in Los Angeles, weighing in at 5 lbs. 5 oz, his rep exclusively confirmed to PEOPLE.

“They’re thrilled and Lars is adorable. Their family is all around them and Mel is over the moon. They’re home and everybody is healthy and happy!” a source revealed.
