Nate and Daniella
After struggling in the live TV challenge, Nate and Daniella were up against Tegan and Anthony in the first elimination challenge.
Unfortunately the pair were at a major disadvantage becase they had only been paired a day prior, unlike Tegan and Anthony who had been a pair since the start of the season.
Though they put up a good fight, they soon became the first couple to be eliminated from the show.
Sam and Angelique
After failing to safely land a virtual plane, blossoming couple Sam and Angelique were up for eviction along with Tegan and Anthony.
Despite their strong bond, the couple failed to claim victory and were sent packing from the competition.
"Although our journey has come to an end, I'm so grateful for this whole experience," Sam wrote on Instagram following his eviction.
"I've come away with lifelong friends and met such an amazing person. @spicyfriedchicken09 has made such an impact on my life and I am so thankful to her."
Alex and Sophie
They didn't get as much screen time as some of the other couples, but that won't stop us from missing this sweet duo, who were booted after losing the elimination challenge to Jason and Emily.
"Sadly my time on Beauty and The Geek is up. I came into this experience looking for love, and what I found was far more valuable; 19 best friends who I will cherish for the rest of my life," Sophie wrote after being eliminated.
"I may not have won, however, having the opportunity to experience BATG and meet so many amazing people (cast & crew) I feel like I truly did win."
We're certain Alex feels the same too.
Jayden and Aimee
No one thought we'd be saying goodbye to this couple so soon, least of all them!
Despite being fan favourites, Jayden and Aimee failed to impress in the medieval challenge and were taken out by a single point at the elimination quiz, sending them home.
"I loved every second of my time on @BATG. I've grown so much as a person, had the best time in the world and above all, have walked away with 19 new, and incredible, best mates," Jayden penned on Instagram after the elimination aired.
"I would not change a thing about my experience... except the fact that I wish I could have kept going." We wish you were still in the game too!
Mike and Heidi
Fan favourites Mike and Heidi seemed like they were a shoo-in to win the competition, only to be eliminated just before finale week.
They lost out in an elimination quiz to Christopher and Bri and there wasn't a dry eye in the house as they said their farewells.
"I can honestly say that this experience has been the best thing I have ever done in my entire life & I will forever be proud of myself and the rest of the crew for being brave, putting ourselves out there and doing something crazy," Heidi said on Instagram after the episode aired.
Mike added: "While all good things must come to an end, this is only just the beginning…"
Jason and Emily
Just momens after Jason's incredible makeover was revealed, he and Emily were sent home after losing the elimination quiz by a single point.
Though they're no longer in the running to win, both were grateful for how much the experience helped them grow.
"Simply learning how to exist on a reality show while trying to remain true to myself was a process of overcoming psychological challenges and self-discovery," Jason said after his exit.
Meanwhile Emily opened up about how the show helped her heal from a harrowing experience by teaching her to trust again.
Michael and Tara
Fans were sad to see this couple go, but they certainly weren't surprised - after all, BATG accidentally leaked the top three ahead of time and Michael and Tara weren't among them.
But the pair said they still felt like they won after finding each other, both writing on Instagram: "We have had an absolutely incredible time, have been able to have once in a lifetime experiences and have found connections that will carry us through the rest of our lives.
"We can both walk away tonight saying it has been the best experiences of our lives. We are grateful for every moment we had."
