Australian Idol kicks off its 2026 season on February 2, with dynamic duo Ricki-Lee Coulter and Scott Tweedie once again hosting the show.
Whilst Ricki’s been off the market for some time, a question mark still lingers over Scott’s love life.
Question is: Is Scott single?
Who is Scott Tweedie’s girlfriend?
Bad news ladies, he is taken. However, it’s a recent development and a long-distance one too.
In a new interview, Tweedie opened up to WHO about his Aussie partner and how they navigate their long-distance relationship.
“Obviously spending part of my time in Australia and part of my time in America, it just so happened that I found an amazing person who lives in Sydney,” he told WHO.
“And now we’re going to deal with how this works, but when you’re really busy and motivated and you have an end goal, you can do anything,” before adding that he will be back in Australia for the singing competition soon.
Being honest about the trials and tribulations of their 15-hour distance, he added: “It’s a challenge, you never know what life’s going to throw at you, you’ve just got to set your mind to it and remember- communication is key.”
Since Scott is known for keeping his love life mostly out of the spotlight, we’ll just have to keep refreshing social media until they go Insta official!
Last year Australian Idol judge Marcia Hines made it her mission to find Scott a special someone.
“We’re going to have to teach him to dance, too” Marcia told TV WEEK at the time. “I’ve got to find a girl for Scott. He’s a good boy and he’s really close to his mum. To me, if you have a partner that had a good relationship with his mother, he’s going to treat you well.”
Who are Scott Tweedie’s exes?
Despite being a catch in Marcia’s eyes, don’t fall into the trap of thinking Scott is a player.
“I’ve always had long-term girlfriends, so I’m not much of a player,” he previously told Channel Ten.
Scott dated Australian model Georgia Berg for five years but the notoriously private couple split in 2018.
“We don’t feel the need to let the world know how much we love each other or how much fun with have together,” Scott said to theFashionSpot back in 2015. “That’s for us to enjoy.”
He was then reportedly linked to architect Madeleine John from 2019 to 2021.
