“Tonight I’m on @thehundredwithandylee !! LOOK AT HOW NERVOUS I AM LMAO,” she wrote excitedly alongside a picture of herself and Andy of the set of his new show, The Hundred with Andy Lee, posted to her Instagram.
“This was a big moment for me meeting @andytomlee tbh. I’ve listened to Hamish and Andy since I was 15 on the school bus so being asked to be a guest on Andy’s show was a weirdly big career milestone?” the influencer mused.
“Without getting too intense and soppy here I would rather meet him than Rhianna or Miley so, that explains the big grin and the nervous sweaty palms in a fist on his shoulder,” she said, addressing the image, in which she sports a big, cheesy grin.
Fans and friends were quick to flood the comments with excitement that matched Abbie’s.
“I met him at a strip club once. This is a lot more wholesome. Love this for you,” wrote fellow Bachelor star Jessica Brody.
“So cute!” added fellow influencer Tully Smyth.
“Apparently Rhianna smells AMAZING though…,” wrote Rebecca Harding, Andy’s partner.
“Bec babe if you guys have kids I’ll be the au pair. Obsessed with you both,” Abbie replied to Rebecca.
Andy’s new show dives into everyday people’s homes in order to learn more about their lives.
However, he also features a panel of celebrities and comedians to weigh in on the stats in what becomes a reverse-Gogglebox type scenario – those on TV look into the homes and lives of the viewers.
Abbie will be joining the show for an episode tonight, facing up to ‘the hundred’, who all appear on the show via video link.
Andy also celebrated Abbie’s appearance on the show on his Instagram stories.
“One bloke thought she was Kylie Minogue (not bad),” he wrote.
With her blonde waves, there might be a tiny resemblance, if you squint.
Andy, who is usually Melbourne-based, is currently in Sydney working on the show.
Covid-19 restrictions meant he had to leave Bec, and their dog, Harriet, behind, and it’s still unknown when the pair will be reunited as lockdowns continue across both New South Wales and Victoria.
Abbie also addressed the Covid-19 situation in her glowing post.
“P.s. this was filmed a lil while ago in a COVID safe set with all of us getting multiple tests and taking all necessary precautions if you’re wondering why we are maskless,” she added to the end of the caption.
