Abbie Chatfield has divided her fans after publicly “blasting” a follower who pointed out a tiny mistake in one of her recent Instagram Stories.

After announcing on social media that she wanted to plan a holiday abroad somewhere warm, Abbie said that she wouldn’t be travelling until later in the year due to her radio show.
“Everyone that’s DMing me saying that Europe is really hot right now and I should go to Europe, I have to do the radio show every night,” she told fans in one Story.
“That’s why I said September, stop telling me where’s hot in June!”

However, it’s currently July, a minor detail that one follower decided to point out to Abbie in a brief and seemingly harmless DM.
But Abbie didn’t agree, taking to her Stories with the message screenshot in the background as she “blasted” the fan for correcting her.
“Remember how I said I was going to start just posting and roasting people who just do the thing where they reply to your stories like ‘actually I got you, you’re wrong,’?” she said.

Abbie then read out the message in a high pitched voice before continuing: “Okay dude. June, July, pretty similar temperatures.
“Also I just misspoke and you know I misspoke. You know I don’t actually think it’s June.”
Visibly frustrated, Abbie accused the fan of wanting to call her out for “knowing something you [Abbie] didn’t know”.
Adding that she’s well aware it’s July, Abbie continued: “I do know that! It’s just that I’ve worked every f—king day this month
“I’m a bit tired and that video was taken while songs were playing on my radio show. So I wasn’t really concentrating and also it doesn’t really matter because you know I know it’s f—king July.”
Though Abbie hid the name of the follower that corrected her, some fans were disappointed that the former Bachelor star would blast them over such a small thing.

“Seriously? You’re going to go off at someone in a two-minute rant because they mentioned you said the wrong month?” one said on Facebook.
Another chimed in: “They [the person who sent the DM] were literally just trying to be helpful. Relax Abbie, not everything is an attack.”
But others saw no issue with Abbie’s reaction, as the star is well known for her fiery and opinionated social media content.
