Abbie Chatfield has shared a major milestone with fans, revealing she purchased a $1.45 million property in the Byron Bay hinterland in New South Wales.
After rising to fame on The Bachelor Australia, Abbie went on to win I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, launch her own podcast, It’s A Lot, and take on hosting duties of the new Love Island Afterparty.
Of her impressive achievement in entering the property market, Abbie wrote on Instagram: “I BOUGHT A HOUSE!!! ALL BY MYSELF!! Turns out being a talentless, lazy, ugly, unfunny, vaxxed villain without a job or a personality pays off!!!!”
The cottage is made from ‘recycled natural materials’ and has a dark blue façade with white accents to complement the beachy location.
With high ceilings and picture-perfect beams, the two-bedroom bungalow is sure to be Abbie’s “little oasis” – according to the cute new Instagram she’s made for her home.
Yep, Abbie made an Instagram account for her pad, calling it ‘Little Brae’ and saying she’ll be sharing further design updates with fans over there. Amassing 20,000 followers already, Abbie also hinted the property could be used as an Airbnb down the track.
In one post on her new Little Brae account, Abbie revealed that the home had it’s own ‘natural’ built-in water feature, with ‘water flowing down the hill when it rains’ and making up part of the land boundary.
The 26-year-old star also shared her first furniture purchase with followers, showing off a beautifully crafted Timber and Wolf custom kitchen island – later asking for input from her fans on which type of stools she should purchase.
Sure to share more of her design journey as she picks out pieces for her new home, fans can be kept in the loop on Abbie’s new account.
She’s already shared more behind-the-scenes snaps on the Little Brae account, asking fans for advice on her couch colour and showing off a little glimpse of her living room.
So cute! Congratulations to the star on her exciting new purchase.
